No gym today : +1KG

Tuesday is supposingly my gym day but I went to meet Colin and his sister (+ bf).

Colin picked me up on a cab near my place. We went over to somewhere at Upper Bukit Timah to buy furnitures. I was looking around while they shopped for what they needed. I really love the throw cushions they have there. It’s kinda nice but I don’t need them at all and damn, they’re not cheap - $50 each. I love the leopard and zebra skin design!

After shopping, we went for pizza! I thought of having pizza some time soon . Just nice, Veronica brought us for pizza. We had Rockys Pizza (along with chicken wings) for dinner. Damn full. Damn good. She paid; thanks!

Paid a visit to Jasper’s* and Veronica’s place after dinner. Rich people’s place. Quite relaxing to stay there. We were watching TV and enjoying some tea.

We left at 10. It was so hard to get a cab. 43920482 passed by, but all were hired. What the. We waited for around 30 mins before a cab that Colin called to book arrive. Damn busy street. Also when we were on cab, there were tons of advanced bookings, according to the uncle.

That’s all for my day. Shopped, Ate good food, served good tea and enjoyed life a little. Maybe not going to gym today is right. HAHAHAHAHAH!

By the way, I was searching for nice clips and I found this. (:

Apple iPod Shuffle - 2nd Generation

appleshuffle2.jpgOmigod! I’m loving it! I haven’t had any apples before.

I don’t think this shuffle should cost more than $200 for the 1GB version. But not sure when I’ll have a chance to own one. Maybe I’ll speak to dad about getting myself a new player. I’m kinda disappointed with my current player, which is my O2 Atom (Phone). Sound quality isn’t that good.

If I were to get, I might buy the 1st Generation iPod Shuffle. I prefer the USB jack with the player, instead of me having to bring around a piece of cable to synchronise or store files. Thumb drive + Mp3 - 2-in-1!

Here’s some specifications you might be interested in:

  • Memory Capacity: 1GB (240 Songs @ 128-Kbps AAC)  (1GB is more than enough! I’ve only got a handful of favourite songs and I change my songs often.)
  • Color Available: Silver (Elegant!)
  • Battery life: Up to 12 hours (12 hours should be enough for me to fly from Singapore to Beijing and back again)
  • Ports: Stereo Minijack (2.5mm jack should be okay, not a problem)
  • Connectivity: USB through included dock (Ah, I hate it. There’s no USB port by itself)
  • Charge time: About 4 hours (2-hour fast charge to 80% capacity) (Time is never a problem since I can charge it at night)
  • Audio Support: Mp3 (8 to 320 kbps), Mp3 VBR, AAC (8 to 320 kbps), protected AAC (from iTunes Store, M4A, M4B, M4P), audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), WAV and AIFF.  (WMA support should be good!)
  • Size: 41 x 27 x 10.5 mm (So small?)
  • Weight: 15.6g (It’s lighter than my watch!)

Cool right. Now, are you considering to get one for yourself and one for me too?

I just changed my email address for MSN. [ The idea of having name@surname.tld^ was suggested by Colin. ]

^ TLD = Top Level Domain (.SG, in my case)

Is it month end or close to new year?

photo_0015.jpg

I really wonder if DBS Bank is giving out year-end bonuses to loyal customers. Maybe not, it’s month-end closing or close to new year.

Just look at the queue If DBS giving out bonuses, you ask me queue till  Clementi MRT Station I also don’t mind lah. MONEY leh, who don’t want!

Earlier on when I came out of Malaysia, I saw the lazy fat customs officer sitting there idling. I normally will walk pass her showing my passport, but this time.. I purposely went over to the counter. Put my passport there and make her scan it. Her face was so black (As if I owe her money). Basket. Lazy freaks. I make sure everytime I cross the borders, I make all of you scan my damn passport.
