If you’re download from torrents often and get bad speed, you should read my entry on How to Speed up your Torrent downloads! Soon after I posted, a friend responded to me via MSN that after optimizing, his download speed increased from 10KBps to 80KBps on a 1mbps Internet connection!
If you’ve tried, how did it go for you? If you haven’t, speed up now (just a few steps).

You think it’s your right to park your car infront of your own house? Don’t think again -Â just pay the fine and you’ll be fine.
So there’s this case of a man living at Katong who thought that parking infront of his own house is his right. And he got two summons for parking infront of his own house. Appeals to the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) failed. Even the papers wrote “So why not just pay the fine?”
He turned it into a court case but again he lost the case. Instead of having the fines waived, he paid around $10, 000 fighting the case. Not to mention he had to take time off to meet his lawyer and to go to court for the trial! Is it worth the time and money?
My advise
Gahmen give you summon, you pay. Then you learn from your mistake and don’t do it again.
Don’t know what’s going on? Check things out then take actions. If you think you’re right, then go appeal. If it doesn’t work, just pay the fine.

And remember, the government is always right. Your only right is to vote. Now, get back to work or you’ll lose your job and there’ll be no chance to appeal.
