Email from World Vision

Dear Felix,

Greetings!

Thank you for your interest in joining us to help the poor and needy through the Child Sponsorship Programme. Your kindness and support will surely help your sponsored child and family in providing and improving their basic needs for living.

We have already received your application and your credit card details form. Please be informed that your sponsorship ID is : 138XXX (Censored). We are in the midst of processing your application and will be assigning a child from the country as per your preference. A picture folder of the child and sponsorship kit will be sent to you through snail mail. Please notify us if you do not receive the said documents in 2 weeks’ time.

Once again, we thank you for your support in the child sponsorship programme. We hope to hear from you soon.

Best Regards,

As you can read, I’m waiting for processing to be done before I finally start having a sponsored child!

Why am I doing this?

Who doesn’t want more money to spend? I would love to have more bags and more clothes but the thought of some kids that really need our help. I decided to start helping them, as much as I can.

Why am I telling you so much?

You may wonder what I do with the money I make from this blog. Not alot, but definitely enough for my hosting fees and to support a child.

As for my own living expenses, I’ve got my father to support me until I finish school.

Why World Vision?

The best thing I like about them: They “teach a child to fish, and not use my donated funds to them fishes“.

Next update.. Until I receive the welcome package from WorldVision!

Life, redefined.

NO life….
Money hard to earn…
I wan win TOTO…

I copied 100% from the blog entry. Sue me if there’s copyright issues. (Ha, I know you won’t).

Whats my life?

Let’s assume classes aren’t cancelled for the day.

Monday – I’ll wake up at 10am if I am in Singapore. School starts at 3.30pm, so I’ve got to be prepared by 2pm to lunch with girlfriend at 2.30pm. That’s all for the day.

Tuesday – I like it. Class start at 8.30am. Ends at 11.30am. I’m free after that.

Wednesday – Refer to Tuesday.

Thursday – Time class starts may be different every week. Somehow undefined. Usually there are classes, but there are several weeks that I don’t have to appear.

Friday – Refer to Tuesday.

If (No School)

Work from 9am to 6pm. But breakfast at 8am with parents. Enforced. That includes Saturdays. I work too.

So do I enjoy my timetable?

Comparing my currently timetable with my friend’s, I should love mine. I have more free time than him. Definitely more.

At least, I don’t have to work overtime like what he did today. (He reached home at 12 odd.)
