30 Tips on How to make your girlfriend happier

It doesn’t matter whether she’s your girlfriend, girl you’re after, or your wife.. Here are a few tips to make a girl (in general) happier.

  1. Be true to her. The truth might hurt, but when she finds out you’re lying, it’s worse.
  2. Love what/who she loves. How can her little puppy at home be irritating?
  3. Spend quality time with her! She wants your full attention.
  4. If you’re really that busy, give her a call when you can.
  5. If you’re not even free to make a call, or cannot call during working hours, a text message warms her heart as well.
  6. Hold her hands in public. Be proud of her!
  7. Hug her! Hugs are stronger than kisses.
  8. Kiss her more, of course.
  9. Don’t sweet talk. Say nice things to her but make sure they’re always true!
  10. Respect her.
  11. Listen to her. Spend some time everyday listening to what she has got to say!
  12. Gifts! It doesn’t have to be any special day. Neither has it gotta be expensive.
    • Flowers - they love it.
    • Soft toys – if she’s not allergic, why not?
  13. Get to know her friends. Especially the people she mix around.
  14. Remember the anniversaries. Men often time forget these dates. It’s time you have an organiser to remember them.
  15. Care for her. Who doesn’t need some care?
  16. Tell her you love her. Simple 3 words “I love you” isn’t so hard to say, right?
  17. Send her a text and say good morning. She’ll feel good to see her boyfriend’s text early in the morning. It might wake her up, but she’ll still smile.
  18. Buy her her favourite food. Not hard right? How about dining at her favourite restaurant?
  19. Drop some vocabulary – such as ‘old’, ‘fat’, ‘ugly’. If you love her, these few words shouldn’t exist in your dictionary.
  20. Praise her. Be it a great job done, nice make up or a nice dress she wore, she’ll be happy.
  21. Compromise! She loves it but you’re not having pasta everyday, are you?
  22. Let her feel loved (on bed). She needs good sex as much as you do. Do I still need to elaborate?
  23. Sing her a song. Just a verse would be good.
  24. Share a joke with her. Laughing is the best medicine. :)
  25. Be romantic. The beach and the stars? The park and the bench?
  26. Don’t mention your ex-girlfriends. She hates it.
  27. Don’t compare her with other girls. I know Jamie was good at this but every girl is different. Accept it. Move on.
  28. Surprise her. Who doesn’t like surprises?
  29. Massage her. She’ll feel you care.
  30. Don’t quarrel over anything. Discuss about it. Problems can be solved with discussion.

The points above can be summarised: Spend optimum time, Buy some gifts, Love and care for her and give her more attention. That’s about all.

How do you ususually make your girlfriend happier? Any tips to share?

Facebook should allow filters using Regular Expressions!

quiz

With all the stupid quizes around, everyone’s doing them. Really too many people doing it everyday and it floods my feeds.

Can facebook allow us to use regular expressions to block what we do not want to see?

I know my friend is a Shopaholic because…

I know my friend is a Shopaholic because… (Actually, I’m a shopaholic too!)

  1. I’d be holding many bags of goods if we’re shopping together! Whenever we go shopping it’s only sweet that a guy holds the shopping bags for ladies while they do their shopping. Then they can shop happier without having to put them on the floor then choose. Hopefully they know it’s been hard on us and offer a good backrub or massage.
  2. I would receive SMS messages containing “I just bought…” or “I just went shopping…”. These messages sounds familiar? Fine, I might be one of them that sent you the messages. So what if I’m a shopaholic?
  3. She’ll take 30mins to choose her required item and end up taking another hour choosing something she doesn’t require from another shop. “Stop.. I think I see something I like inside this shop!” It’s never going to be that 30mins of choosing a mascara and thats it. She’s sure to be back home with something else.
  4. The more she buys, the happier she is. Spending money makes some people feel good? Perhaps.

There are many more reasons why I discovered about a shopaholic! But.. if you wanna know why…

Staying in Malaysia means I must read or understand Malay?

friendster-malay

I guess the main reason why I don’t even step on Friendster is because this pisses me off. I find it really irritating when I have to switch to my own language everytime I visit the site (in the past), until one day I decided that I shouldn’t even bother looking at it.

I travel and stay around quite a fair bit between Singapore and Malaysia for the past few years. Recently, I was really disappointed by Singtel’s Mobile Broadband and that caused me not to be able to surf much in Singapore as I wasn’t  even able to multitask by surfing 2 websites at 1 go.  It’s that serious. Now I’ve got M1 Mobile Broadband, and it isn’t any better too. I’ll do a review about it another day — but you know it’s not going to be a good review. But seriously speaking, TMNet Streamyx performs way better than the damn Mobile Broadbands I got in terms of stability. Ok, thats not the point.

Speaking about languages, English has been my primary language since young and that makes Chinese my mother tongue. I don’t get to learn Malay (Or Bahasa) in school and thats why until today I’m no good at the language.

We’ve got facebook right now, and it’s doing way better in terms of surfing experience. Importantly, they don’t select a damn default language for me by my IP Address.

Good bye Friendster. Any other sites that make me read Malay as my default language, I’ll say good bye to you too. [Webmasters, get this into your brains please.]
