Advertlets: Earnings not processed for > 2 months!

I’m sick of emailing Advertlets (or adding a support ticket) and waiting more than a week for a reply. This is not the way to run business, Josh.

Where is my cheque?

2 months ago or to be exact, onÂ 11th SeptemberÂ 2007 (Remember the September 11 bombing?), I checked out an amount of money. Hey, that was my first checkout with Advertlets and I haven’t got it yet. It’s been more than 70 days. Seriously, I don’t think Advertlets hasÂ that many clients that checkout monthly that my cheque cannot be processed in time. Compare with Google’s Adsense? Does that explain why Adsense is doing soÂ well?

Server downtime/Lag!

I noticed that almost everyday Advertlets’ server is lagging and causing my page to load slowly. Worse of all, when the server is down, my ads don’t get loaded and my page remains dead. Fine. I’ll just accept this quietly.

I saw a bug!

Is that a bug? Why did today appear twice? (Figured censored as respect to Advertlets)

Please do something about this. I’m sure there are others who will give you the support to improve!

Have you encountered any problems with Advertlets that you’ll like to share with me? Bug for you too? Yet to receive your cash-out?

Nuffnang: New look, better system?

While surfing online, I discovered that Nuffnang now has a new design and according to some bloggers, Nuffnang is working hard to produce results for bloggers.

I tried Nuffnang 3 months ago and I was totally disappointed with the results. Sad to say, I was offered RM$0.50 for 7 days of Allyhunt Global Skyscraper placement on my blog. I remember I had around 200 visitors and it was totally peanuts; not even enough for my web hosting, not to mention any VPS.

I will give Nuffnang another try. Yes, this time for 1 month. Next month if it doesn’t produce results, it’ll be down until I foresee changes. =)

Sunshine Empire: Whats next?

If Sunshine Empire makes you money without having you to work, everyone just gotta invest and thenÂ no one willÂ have to work. This is notÂ a rightÂ cycle.

SINGAPORE: The Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) has launched investigations into multi-level marketing (MLM) firm, Sunshine Empire.

The probe by the white collar crime buster comes just over a month after the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) placed the firm on an investor-alert list which zooms in on those who may be conducting activities regulated by the MAS without authority.

Sunshine was also put on a similar list by Malaysian authorities a few months ago.

MLM firms, which are legal in Singapore, typically invite people to pay cash for the right to market goods to other people. They also get cash for recruiting other MLM marketeers.

What do I know?

I got to know Sunshine Empire through a friend few months back and according to him, he earns quite alot through the investment plans. The investment plans earns him much muchÂ more than what any local bank’sÂ investment plansÂ can give. I’m going to stop here about what I know – I’ve got no facts since it’s a ‘hear-say’.

Whats wrong?

Just think. You think investing $20k and you’re getting back $40k in a yearÂ without having to do anyÂ work? Nothing is free, my dad always says.

Even if stock markets are bullish right now, it’sÂ near toÂ impossible for anyone to just invest for you and get back so much. Hey, do you know how many hedge funds went bankrupt last and this year?

Is this publicity or bad news for the company?

Until now, no one knows.Â

Positive: This piece of news may invite more investors. “Oh, so Sunshine Empire can earn me lots of money!”

Negative: Oh shit. I want my money back now. I’m going over to their head office to meet …”

My two pennies worth

I am NOT an investor of Sunshine Empire. Neither am I a supporter of the company. And, I’m not having anything against the Empire (Why should I?).

Investors may want to get back what they invested few months back, but I’m quite sure that the company wouldn’t allow that. If everyone does that, they’ll close down soon. So good luck guys.

I NEED MONEY, HELP ME

If you’re thinking about investing with Sunshine Empire, I suggest you visit your nearby banking partner, be it DBS, POSB, Standard Chartered, Maybank, HSBC, UOB or Citibank to arrange for aÂ fixed deposit account. At least banks are more reliable with their lower but realistic interest rate at maybe 4% per annum.

So I wrote an entry two months ago warning readers that the stock market will collapse soon. Did you listen? Or did you continue to risk your money?

I just read a news article reporting that Japanese markets closed at a 15-month low? And Ofcourse, the Straits Times Index (STI) didn’t perform well too.

I’ve got no other comments this time as I haven’t got time to analyze the markets.

Don’t you think it’s time to take a rest?Â
