Omigod! I’m loving it! I haven’t had any apples before.
I don’t think this shuffle should cost more than $200 for the 1GB version. But not sure when I’ll have a chance to own one. Maybe I’ll speak to dad about getting myself a new player. I’m kinda disappointed with my current player, which is my O2 Atom (Phone). Sound quality isn’t that good.
If I were to get, I might buy the 1st Generation iPod Shuffle. I prefer the USB jack with the player, instead of me having to bring around a piece of cable to synchronise or store files. Thumb drive + Mp3 – 2-in-1!
Here’s some specifications you might be interested in:
- Memory Capacity: 1GB (240 Songs @ 128-Kbps AAC) (1GB is more than enough! I’ve only got a handful of favourite songs and I change my songs often.)
- Color Available: Silver (Elegant!)
- Battery life: Up to 12 hours (12 hours should be enough for me to fly from Singapore to Beijing and back again)
- Ports: Stereo Minijack (2.5mm jack should be okay, not a problem)
- Connectivity: USB through included dock (Ah, I hate it. There’s no USB port by itself)
- Charge time: About 4 hours (2-hour fast charge to 80% capacity) (Time is never a problem since I can charge it at night)
- Audio Support: Mp3 (8 to 320 kbps), Mp3 VBR, AAC (8 to 320 kbps), protected AAC (from iTunes Store, M4A, M4B, M4P), audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), WAV and AIFF. (WMA support should be good!)
- Size: 41 x 27 x 10.5 mm (So small?)
- Weight: 15.6g (It’s lighter than my watch!)
Cool right. Now, are you considering to get one for yourself and one for me too?
I just changed my email address for MSN. [ The idea of having name@surname.tld^ was suggested by Colin. ]
^ TLD = Top Level Domain (.SG, in my case)
