I went for a haircut again, today! It’s been only 3 weeks since I last had my haircut, but my hair just grew too fast. John, my hairdresser told me I’m having lesser hair on top as compared to the last time he did my hair for me. How can I be losing hair at such a young age? My dad still have lots of hair at age of 50!

Later on, Ann shampooed my hair. She also commented that I’m losing alittle hair on top! Oh man. Ann has strong hands; she massaged me so well. I would say she’s the best so far, I’ve ever tried. I can really feel my back and shoulders more relaxed! Must request for her next time round!

John asked me not to return there until January if I want to let my hair grow longer. I think I want to let my hair grow longer before I let him style it again. I will return there when I need to get hair products.

Readers, TIPS PLEASE! How do I grow more hair or prevent hair loss?

  1. Hair thinning begins when the hair follicles is clog with oil and chemicals from shampoos and if dandruff is covering most of the scalp then no new hair will be able to grow to replace the fallen hair. Hair follicles loosens its nutrients so it can’t hold the hair longer so it drops. To stop hair loss we need to clean the scalp by detoxifying and stop using shampoos with strong chemicals on it, try using herbal or natural shampoo with lesser or no chemicals.

    Okay here’s the down low.

If you want to stop hair loss altogether… than I suggest you try and get some pills which prevent the conversion of testosterone into DHT.

Because DHT is what causes hair loss in the first place.

Think of it as a vice grip slowly tightening around the root of your hair, eventually the grip gets too tight and your hair can’t grow because no nutrient enters it.

THEN… game over… and hello bald patch!

Until then… I suggest a good course of Rogaine and Propecia.

    Good Luck!

My best advice is Neeta’s Herbal. The products have been tested by FDA in the US & UK. I have been using them for a year. The price does not burn a hole in the pocket. They are safe & herbal. They are very reputable, with outlets in the UK, US, Melbourne, Holland etc. They also have an outlet in S’pore. Tel: 63976322

Have you thought about medical hair restoration?
There are permanent solutions like hair transplants. And a few clinics offer it now in Singapore. Asia Health Partners is one.

Every problem has solutions, so also hair loss. Change to food rich in proteins and use some minerals and vitamins and also medicine may decrease hair loss.

  8. Clip Hair says:

Hair loss is very common to hair care. We should rely more on medical advice rather using herbs, strong shampoos and unorthodox head massage which may damage more.

Go seek medical opinion before going to a Tricologist. Your GP would be the ideal first step. Get their advise first. It could be you need to change your diet or the brand of shampoo or the way you wash your hair.

Last thing you should do is visit supposed hair specialists like Beijing 101 or Yunnan Hair Care. They tend to use their “kitchen sink” mentality to treat everyone. Herbs, strong shampoos and unorthodox head massages could do more damage and make things worse. Only do so if your doc says so – or recommends one.

PS: I’m balding too – so do take precaution when its still early.
