A person’s treatment of money is A test of his character:
how he makes it and how he spends it.
by James Moffatt

“Making money: It is a test of your integrity to make an honest living through hard work. Making money by cheating and stealing seems to be the answer for some people. Others spend their money on get rich schemes to make lots of money quickly but risk losing all they have, including damaging relationships. Every successful entrepreneur did his/her homework before investing in anything. This requires hard work, patience, perseverance and courage.

Spending money : too often we spend to our last dollar and even more by borrowing from others or using credit cards. Easy borrowing can lead to overextending oneself, which means that unwise money-managers might be unable to repay debt. Self-control is hard, especially if you see others having something. But ask yourself, do I really need it? Or do I just want it? Do I have the self-discipline to save a small amount for that rainy day or do I spend like there is tomorrow? Do I give some to those less fortunate? “
