This year, SMIT has the most number of campers for freshmen orientation camp! We’ve got more than Singapore Polytechnic’s Students’ Union, SPSU for short; I remember Shawn saying that they’ve got only around 80 odd.
I’ve got no energy to write everything in chronological (blog-style) order. I’m just lazy to think what happened. I’ll probably write too much if I were to think.
Let me just write briefly from a photographer-wannabe’s point of view.
Day1 – 05 April 2007
Somehow briefly written in this entry.
Day2 – 06 April 2007
Definitely I had fun in Vivo City! Second day was Amazing Race. While waiting for the 8 groups of freshmen to arrive at our (Wei Jun, Stephanie, Qiuhui + me!) station, I had fun in the wading pool. I played in the water like no one’s business, really. Those who looked at my striking orange shirt may question my age, but who cares? I haven’t had so much fun in water for many years. I don’t even remember the last time I swam with my cousins (at Starhill).
While shopping for a top inside Giordano with Qiuhui, I was spotted by Terence Zhu! I haven’t met Terence for years. Serious, I’ve not met him for years! Terence is a senior of mine who was very nice to my group during our freshmen orientation camp.
After Vivo, we went to Labrador Adventure Centre (LAC). Enjoyed the campfire (after so many years) to a certain extent. Did a few funny shots with Tan Chee Seong, our camp commander (also a lecturer). Didn’t stay throughout the activities (I think we missed Hot & Spicy only.).
Day 3 – 07 April 2007
Activities at Sentosa. I’ve had fun taking photographs, definitely. I’m also very happy to see the smiles on the freshmen’s face. No one complained about getting wet. No much quarrels during Operation Siloso (mass game) too.
Back to school. Shower, rest, dinner. Next activity was Shim night (Hosted by Jin!). Shim night is an activity where the group members will dress a male member as a girl and the groups will compete between each other. Disco night started after Shim night ended at around 12am. I took a few shots and went to sleep. Dancing and noise isn’t my life. Peace.
Day 4 – 08 April 2007
Telematch at Singapore Polytechnic’s BIG BIG stadium. Camp songs, friendship dance, testimonial writing & photo taking. That’s all. Break camp.

End. I need to sleep soon. I’m damn tired.
