Its not weird, but it does make the guy feel like ure relationship doesnt mean anything, and hed eventually leave you, he will get bored of u faster that way!

First of all. You probably hate hearing this but you are only 14. You do not know what true love is. Go into each relationship with an open heart and with the intention to become great friends and companions with them. SO many relationships revolve around trying to love one another when true love only comes naturally and when you focus on what really matters. I know how lame all this sounds but im telling you, its all about going with the flow. Hope this helps bud!
