Singapore Notes with "KF" marking have no value
Look into your wallet and check if you’ve got notes with "KF" imprinted on it. If you’ve got any, bring them down to where you withdrew them to exchange them for another piece. (Let’s say you forgot where you withdrew them, just bring them to any bank.)
Why are there such notes?
The notes are considered to be deliberately mutilated and they command no value. That means, your $50 can be $0 if you don’t have it exchanged.
According to MAS:
The letters "KF", which appear to be marking stamped onto the note, are not part of the design of the $50 note.
Notes with such marking are considered to be deliberate mutilation and they command no value.
We advise members of public who receive notes with the "KF" marking to bring them to the banks for one-for-one exchange.Source : Stomp
