Half of the list just encourages the stereotype that only trash works at McDonalds. I've worked fast food, but damn you're ignorant. I've learned that the best way to deal with any costumer is being polite. When they're yelling at you they'll calm a lot faster if you remain calm, stay polite, say sorry and don't be rude - it makes things worse.

I agree with Annie, although working at a fast food franchise can be frustrating at times, dealing with rude customers that do sometimes mislead you or may not be clear about what they want in their order. We still need to remember something. Just because you work for such a large company like Mcdonalds, does not give you the right to be rude, They are still the reason you have a job. Some of these I understand because I have worked at similar places. The one about the ice cream cone, maybe if you know that customer orders ice cream frequently...but some people such as myself don't eat fast food but once every 3 months so get over it and instead of snapping just explain politely that the ice cream cones come in one size. The one about the receipt at the window. Every fast food chain is different some places have one window an some have 2 so maybe the customer didn't hear you or just wanted to make sure they received a receipt. The one about the pickles. If the customer asked for no pickles and they are put on the sandwich...GIVE THEM A NEW SANDWICH. Its not the customers fault someone in the back overlooked it. You have no idea why that person wanted no pickles. If that customer had a bad reaction to the pickles...guess who is going to get in trouble, defiantly not the customer. The one about asked for your total. I have noticed that Mcdonalds adds each item on the screen as a single and then some of it gets taken away. Thats just the way they do it in the system to work everything out so if the person wants their total, its it really a big deal to take 5 seconds to repeat it? And the one about the tomatoes in the picture. Is it really a big deal is a customer just wants to make sure... to avoid the hassle of having to come back and return it. Like you said everyone is imperfect and ordered do get messed up at mcdonalds too. Theres a lot of rumors about employees messing with a customers food because they were not nice and those rumors didn't start from nowhere. So guess what. Learn some customer service and get it into your brian that if a customer suspect an employee might have done something to their food. They will be suspicious while eating and if anything tastes off, they are not going to go back even if nothing was done!!
