I received an email from Tatarah regarding refunding processing fees for cancelled auctions when I didn’t even pay a single cent. Can’t they target just those who paid? Oh, maybe this is an email to remind you that Tatarah exists.

Just to share with you how much Tatarah earns per auction.

I’m unsure how much the processing fees was for this product, but I am certain the fees for an iPod was $1 with the product priced at around $348. So for a product priced at $659, automatically if you know your maths, the processing fees should be around $2, or $1.50.

Now we’ll do alittle maths:

Processing fees (Let’s assume) : $1.50
Number of bidders for the Wii (above) : 634
Total processing fees collected: $951.00 (before tax; I remember reading that processing fees include tax – LOL?)
Total processing fees collected: $884.43 (after tax)
Tatarah earns: $225.43 OR MORE

I’m assuming processing fees was $1.50 and not $2.

I conclude

633 of you lost $2 (better luck next time, yea?). Hey, isn’t this same as buying 4D? Muslims, tell me if it’s right to bet. Uhm, is this considered betting? I’m unsure. I just feel this is just like buying 4D and Toto.

Tatarah earnt $225.43 or more (okay, or less). Way to go.

Have you tried Tatarah? How was the experience? How much processing fees did you pay?

but hey for the processing fees…how much u spend will be how much u will have for discounts when u win an item in the auction..

    $1 processing fees=1 T point
50 T-points=$50 off for the item u won..

so if u sucessfully bid an item of 178.96..
    u can use the points..so,
178.96-50=128.96(what u will pay after de dicount..)

    Hey Guys!

If you’re thinking of using a lowest unique bid auction site, then try out http://www.bidzila.com. It’s cheaper to use than Tatarah and the lowest unique bid wins!

The concept is in contrast to lotteries where the outcome is based purely on chance as users can monitor the status of a bid giving more transparency to the auction.

Sign up now and get 3 free bids! What are you waiting for try it now!

Mystarbid – The lowest unique bid website
Mystarbid is a website run by the Malaysian registered company and has four services center in Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Mystarbid are where products are placed on auction with the following rules: Bidders are asked to place their bid, a bid which they think no one else will duplicate, and the successful bidder will be the one with the LOWEST UNIQUE BID.

But they must really get enough bidders in order to earn money. If you check out the Spa package, they actually lose money on that.

Tatarah makes it too complicated for many to follow and make worse by the site down on the last min.

I think it’s not that it’s not for malays leh.. It’s not for moslem.. Don’t make malays equal to moslems..

  7. Aaron says:

Yes i believe that’s how they make money.
And with their new ‘Highest Single Bid’ system, which totally changes everything they were promoting…

I have no doubt that they’ll earn a lot more.

In actual fact, there is no difference from buying 4d or Toto, just that you know how much you’ll actually win.. if you win.
