Akismet - 999 spams blocked

Today, the 999th spam was caught by Akismet. Akismet is a wonderful anti-spamming plug-in that learns what is considered spam and what isn't. Best of all, it supports almost any application with submitted content including contact forms, forums, wiki & blog. Ever since I start let Akismet filter my blog's comments & trackbacks, I saved myself lots of time having to delete them myself. However, there were times that Akismet failed to recognize spam messages that were considered new,  but I sent them back to the moderation queue for another round of spam check (and they were eradicated).
