It’s alright if you’ve never dine at Pastamania before. After reading this, you might want to try it to see if I’m speaking the truth.

#fail #1 – New Forks and Spoons at Pastamania

Pastamania using forks and spoons of lousy quality

You love the design of the utensils, don’t you? Does the fork and spoons remind you of the chicken rice stall at clementi market? I don’t understand why they’re cutting cost to such an extent that they cannot to get those of better quality, like what they previously used (and still using).

fail #2 -Parmesan Cheese powder or Parmesan flour?

Correct me if I’m wrong – Cheese shouldn’t taste like flour. I’m not any specialist at food, but anyone who eats cheese rather often will find the parmesan cheese powder at Pastamania not at all cheesy.

I’ll complain no more about the cheese or they might keep the cheese powder and instead charge you for cheese in future. Ouch.

fail #3 – Bad taste!

Errr, taste is something rather personal, we all know. But my paste tasted like crap. Just tasted like lousy tomato puree with no herbs or whatsoever. Blunt taste. Trust me, they used to be better, alot better.

fail #4 – It’s getting very cramped.

Image taken from pastamania

Pastamania (above: Causeway point) no longer looks like the picture above. They’ve changed most (if not all) their tables to smaller rectangular tables. The whole place became very cramped and packed. Staffs that are of bigger size really have to say excuse me everytime they walk pass. So, those of you with big bags, leave it at home or put it on your lap.

fail #5 – Clearing your plates immediately.

You consider this good service? They pass you a big menu, tell you to order at the cashier, serve you with your food within minutes, you finish your food fast, they clear it and it just means you have to go. I actually missed out that the staff will always ask: “can I clear this?” – but will you say no if you’re done?

Be positive, think of it as decluttering your table for your desserts. Yah, right.

My apologies, this is a delayed post. Okay, now read on.

Child-story

I find ourselves very lucky. If you’re able to be here reading my blog, I’m pretty sure you’ve got a decent Internet connection and at least a computer.

Some facts inside the brochure

Child’s Name: YANG, Xiao Dong
Birthday: 16/01/04 (That makes him 4 years old!)
Photo: Cute!
Health: Satisfactory
Sibling(s): 1 brother

Xiao Dong is not in school yet. He doesn’t help out with house chores as he’s too young.

Both parents are self-employed as farmers. According to statistics, farmers (in Yongsheng, North-West Yunnan) account for 93.7% of the population. The annual per capita income is RMB 608 (US$89 on 6 Nov 08) and per capita food consumption is 397kg.

Do check out the brochure by clicking it to enlarge.

Updates

Xiao Dong actually got his senior to help him write me a letter. I’ll share it soon. Give me time to actually do the posting!

My target

I do not only want to sponsor a child. I would love to sponsor children. More and more!

Thank you for giving me some attention. Without your attention, this child won’t be sponsored. Again, I must repeat that you (readers) are part of this Sponsor a child project.

The above photo was taken yesterday at Ping.SG’s T-Shirt launching event, which was a success.

My picture & my size

As you can see, I’m not very slim, and neither am I fat. Put it this way. Before – More muscle, less fats. Now – More fats, less muscle. Simplified: Fatter.

Breakfast

I eat almost the same thing everyday. Not many stalls for me to get food from.

What’s available?

  • Bengawan Solo – Cakes & “Kuehs”
  • Polar - Cakes and pastry
  • Fruits
  • Bakery (I forgot the name of the shop)
  • Mr Bean – Soya milk, Bean curd & pancakes
  • Old Chang Kee – fried food!

.. etc

And what do I usually eat?

  • Pancakes & bean curd from Mr Bean. I don’t like Mr Bean’s soya milk. Just not the quality I expect.
  • Bread. With tuna or chicken ham? Or Pizza bread?
  • Spring rolls & Chicken wings from Old Chang Kee

Usually these few. I seldom like to have cakes early in the morning. Neither do I eat fruits early in the morning.

Lunch

Short and sweet.

I eat everything tasty. It depends on who I’m eating with and who buys. We hate thinking, so either one of us will buy 2 (or more) sets of the same food. =)

Dinner

Almost the same. No details required right?

Tea time!

I nearly forgot.

Yes. I love tea time.

Fruits, all sorts of junk food which includes fried food and pan cakes!

Conclusion

I can help you grow fatter. Just drop me a comment.

Or maybe you can tell me your secret to grow fatter?

P.S After having lunch these 2 days, I still feel very hungry. Is it because of the cold weather making me eat more? Or ..?

f_cup_tea1.jpg

Earlier this month, a Japanese food manufacturer came out with F Cup Cookies. 2 pieces of F Cup Cookies daily to get F cup boobs! We aren’t sure if it really is that good, but it’s selling well.

That’s why the same manufacturer came out with the all-new F.Cup Tea! F Cup tea contains pueraria mirifica, which is a special herb that helps in the enlarging. That herb replaces horomones, but so far, there are no reports about the hormone.

No more implants from now on! The right nutrients go to the right parts!

For only SGD$13, you can get yourself a box of it. Not here, but in Japan. If you’ve got friends going over, get them to buy back a box for you. Don’t forget my share too.
