Since I do not need this software, I’m going to give it away to anyone that wants or need it. I’m that nice since I don’t see why I should be wasting this piece of good software around.

This is not a paid post. I got this piece of software from BAK2u through a contest. And, I only got ONE to give away for now. I do have a spare license for the Windows version, which I might give away along with this if the response is decent.

You will most likely need this if you are afraid of losing your mobile, bring your laptop around often or you travel often and there’s likely risk of losing your gadgets.

What can the software do:

  • Protect your confidential information due to theft or loss.
  • Backup your info, on-the-air! (Address book, tasks, notes, calendar)
  • Importantly, track your hardware. You can get to know where your kids are if you install this on their mobile. There are many people who got back their gadgets after losing them.

Versions available:

  • Windows Mobile
  • Symbian
  • Blackberry
  • Macintosh
  • Windows

NOTE: You can only choose one from the above available versions above.

How to participate?
I’m only asking that you drop me an email or get me via the contact form. I will contact you if you’ve won. There’s no hidden charges. Totally free. Good luck.

P.S. Inspired by DK.

Now that I’ve received my Ubuntu CD, it’s time I start burning CDs and send to anyone (probably around Malaysia and Singapore) that requests. This is my way of returning to the community. :)

How it goes

Drop me an email at ubuntu  with your name, mailing address and email address. You can choose between the desktop or server edition; I’ll burn you a copy of the latest (for now, Ubuntu 8.10).

  1. I will send you one (1) cd only. Let me know if you’ve got a special request.
  2. As far as possible, I try to send it within a week (I will be away from 2nd December to 9th December 08).
  3. And if you’re not from Singapore/Malaysia, try not to request as I don’t want to incur too much shipping fees. However, if you really think you need one, it’s still fine to drop me an email and I will see what I can do for you.
  4. I know Fedora 10 was just released too. Personally I’m no fan of Fedora, but I will still burn you a copy if you request.
  5. It’s free. Yes. To fund me, donations go to paypal (Paypal) or moneybookers  (Moneybookers). YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DONATE TO GET A CD.

Now, if you want a CD, email me. I’m friendly and I don’t bite!

Let me tell you why I signed up.

I make calls often over at Malaysia with Wi-Fi available. The call is very clear and I can talk to my girlfriend for up to an hour.I usually hang up when feel my ear turning warm.

And, let’s be honest, it’s free. I was offered free credits and subscription too, and that’s why I signed up! According to the site, I started using the service since 11th Apr 2007; it’s more than a year!.

Recently, I sent a fax over to Malaysia while at work, not having access to a physical fax machine. The fax just appeared well!

Are you sure it’s free?

I’m using it, and I’ve yet to pay a single cent.

Is it reliable?

pfingo was started by Starhub (SGX-ST), Singapore’s second largest info-communication company. What do you think?

When can I sign up?

From now until 31st May 2008 in order to enjoy this promo! After that, you won’t be entitled to the free credits.
