Grrr! I reinstalled my Windows XP today. It’s 3.49pm and I’m not done with installing all my drivers yet. Basic drivers like wireless, video, audio and chipset are installed, leaving some unurgent ones namely bluetooth and infrared out first. (I’ll install when I need them!)
The fresh copy of Windows XP caused my grub boot-loader to go missing. I’ve got no idea how to make it re-appear, but its okay. I’ll just reinstall my Ubuntu 7.04 (Fiesty Fawn) another day.
I reformatted the Windows partition and thus losing ALL the softwares I had, previously. 7+ gigabytes of softwares gone, just in few minutes (quick format). I wonder when I will be able to get back all of them again. I’m now sourcing for a few softwares I will use daily such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
I need an anti-virus too. Can someone suggest a good one? If not, I’ll just stick with NOD32.
Time to update my windows via WindowsUpdate!
Remember the entry I wrote 2/3 days ago when I was in a camp? I just got back yesterday but was too tired to write anything.
Camp was great. I took tons of photos, again. Taking more photos means I’ve got to filter more, but it’s fine. Filtering will only take at most 1 day. The question is when I will be able to find time to filter them.
When I was at Sentosa (Saturday), Anna text’ed me telling me mum was hospitalised.
When I got back, the main gate at home got spoilt (Dad woke me up at 7am to help him fix and it’s now fixed.).
My laptop wasn’t in the mood to perform too. Booting up Windows XP took at least 15 minutes. It’s kind-of fixed, but still not sure if it’s able to sustain me until my Final Year Project (FYP) ends. I might just do a reinstall before this Sunday as school is starting next monday.
FYP meeting’s on Thursday. I’m still kinda lost; don’t know how to start with the project.
